DJ Ace, also known as Ace Reider, hails from the beautiful island of Kauai, where he was immersed in a culture that deeply valued its origins and traditions from a young age. 

Moving to Australia for a period, Ace was introduced to the vibrant house music scene, sparking his DJ career back in 2012. With a background in music education, specifically guitar, he brings a unique perspective to his sets, blending everything from classic 60s hits to modern deep house vibes. 


Known for his easygoing nature, organization, and a dash of spontaneity, DJ Ace has a knack for creating unforgettable moments at weddings, driven by a passion for celebrating love and curating the perfect soundtrack.

From his early days on Kauai to exploring the house music scene in Sydney, DJ Ace's journey into DJing is as eclectic as his music sets. 


Opting for a career behind the decks after realizing the challenges of making music a full-time gig, DJ Ace has never looked back. His diverse influences range from his father's 80s and country records to his mother's teachings in show tunes and classical crooners, enriching his playlists with a broad spectrum of sounds. 


Despite not inheriting his mother's vocal talents, Ace's prowess on the guitar and deep appreciation for music from "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" to Calvin Harris ensure his wedding sets are both emotionally resonant and irresistibly danceable. His love for weddings is fueled by the joy of witnessing love and commitment.

Rob and all the staff we worked with at Second Song were great! I vetted several DJs for my husband’s surprise 70th birthday celebration and selected Second Song live DJ because they were able to provide a soloist and a sax player to compliment the overall DJ experience. Our DJ was Ace, Sax Player Austin and singer Natalie. I booked 11 months in advance, had a phone meet and greet 6 weeks out and had several revisions to the itinerary as we got closer to the event. Any changes , questions or ideas I had were promptly acknowledged, answered and collaborated on which continually reassured me that Second Song took a personal interest in making our night one to remember. I also found out that Second Song is frequently hired by my employer, Providence Medical Center in Torrance, for their Foundation events.
