Jay's journey meanders from the streets of Americana, São Paulo, Brazil, to the diverse soundscape of Los Angeles, where he honed his craft at the Herb Alpert Music Center upon arriving in the US.
Since plucking his first guitar chord in 2009, Jay has become a familiar face in the local music scene and shares his knowledge as a music theory instructor. Inspired by '90s and '00s alternative rock, soul, and funk, he crafts dynamic DJ sets reflecting his eclectic taste, now exploring the vibrant sounds of Amapiano.
His extensive experience includes DJing weddings, events for the city of Los Angeles, and fundraisers, making him a versatile performer for any crowd. Often described as a thoughtful sound curator, Jay approaches DJing with precision and creativity, weaving genres into a harmonious sonic experience.
