Oceanside Wedding at Bel-Air Bay Club, Pacific Palisades.

The Bel-Air Bay Club was the perfect setting for this couple and their elegant fun wedding. The venue has that classic historic look, but the panoramic ocean views give it the quintessential laid back California feel. So what better setting for a couple looking for a Black Tie Wedding, but who are also ready to rave.

Guests came mainly from the East Coast, so they were more than ready to soak in the November California sun, and they got the perfect weather for it. The outdoor Ceremony was soundtracked by a laid back house playlist, to provide the blissed-out vacation feel as guests arrived (See Spotify list below!). During Cocktail Hour we picked the tempo up a bit with a tropical house playlist for guests to enjoy the sunset views with cocktails in hand. During dinner, we swung back to the traditional, with a modern jazz playlist to fit the piano room setting.

A beaming bride and groom walk hand in hand down the aisle as flower petals are tossed in the air by guests, with palm trees under a clear blue sky in the background, celebrating their newly declared union at an outdoor wedding ceremony.

Then the party started!

The Grand Entrance got everyone to the dance floor, and it was clear this crowd was ready to party. After the perfect choreographed first dance, we finally got guests back to their seats for dinner. After dinner, speeches, and formalities, it wasn’t long before the dance floor was packed again, and stayed that way until we closed it down. Ting and Danny know how to have fun, and so do their friends. So while the playlist focused around a mix of House, EDM, and Top 40, we made sure there was enough nostalgia (with a touch of goofiness) that there was something for everyone.

All Night wedding Party!

The Bel-Air Bay club shook all night, and the lighting we provided was able to accentuate the dual aspects of the venue. The Amber Up Lights during dinner provided a candlelight style shine to the beauty of the room. Then when we needed to get turned up we used the DMX setting of the Up Lights to make the whole room change color in time to the music. The venue went from a classic Spanish style villa to a Vegas nightclub all in one night.
