The Perfect COVID-Friendly Virtual Wedding Experience

The Wedding of Shane and Katie was the perfect 2020 COVID Celebration. All guests and vendors were tested prior to the Wedding date, and safety was always at the top of the Bride and Groom’s priorities. However, they didn’t let that get in the way of a perfect wedding celebration with as many of their family and friends as possible.

Malibu Solstice is the quintessential Malibu Wedding setting, with 360-degree views of the Pacific Ocean and Santa Monica Mountains. There may have only been a handful of guests at the venue, but Shane and Katie brought the family from all over the world to enjoy the wedding through zoom. In fact, they even had their officiant perform the Wedding over zoom and streamed in on a 50inch TV.

Following their flawless Wedding Ceremony, guests enjoyed Cocktails and the perfect sunset. The highlight of the evening was the chance for the newlyweds to greet their online guests with our signature zoom wedding Speed Greeting feature.

Then to cap off their virtual wedding the couple performed their First Dance as people joined in from their living room. After the virtual guests signed off to get back to their day (or in some time zones go straight to bed) Katie and Shane shared an intimate dinner with their in-person guests, beautifully catered with individually plated meals by Spotted Hen.
